Our story
Built to make an impact
Nekton Sports Performance was founded in 2020 with a vision to bring high-level sports performance training to athletes who wanted more.
What began in Hutchinson has grown into something much bigger than a training facility.
Nekton is a culture. A community. A place where athletes are challenged to pursue excellence, encourage one another, and grow into something greater than they were when they walked through our doors.
We believe training is an opportunity to impact more than athletic performance. We want to help athletes maximize their God-given abilities, develop character, build meaningful relationship, and become the people they were created to be – in sport and beyond.

The name behind the mission
WHAT IS a nekton?
A Nekton moves independently of the current. Paul writes in Romans 12:2 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the the renewing of your mind.”
Similarly, a Nekton athlete stands out from the world. They constantly pursuing a purpose greater than themselves. They develop the discipline to pursue excellence in every aspect of life, the character to stand firm, and the hunger to continually become better.
